My name is Kaylin, and I am a junior in high school. I created this page to help Smile Train raise money and awareness for people with cleft palates. Cleft palates have made a personal impact on my family and I because my brother was born with a cleft palate. He moved in with us when he was 7 years old with an unrepaired cleft pallet; watching him struggle with speaking and eating impacted my life. Now, almost a year later at 8 years old his cleft pallet is finally repaired but he still has many years ahead of him to learn how to speak.
Smile Train has many resources and programs available to help people like my brother regain confidence and a second chance in life. Smile Train is the largest cleft-focused organization. They provide health care in over 70 countries to repair cleft palates and equip the communities with lifelong support.
No amount is too small please consider donating to help Smile Train reach even more people.
