during the holiday season, The Conservatory of Piano sponsors an annual charity fundraiser, The Festival of Giving. To that end, our students will tickle the ivories during six separate concerts on Friday, December 8th and Saturday, December 9th. These concerts will be held at the historic St. John's Episopal Church in Worthington, Ohio.
for this year's Festival, we have once again chosen to board the SmileTrain. Kids helping kids is a great cause, and SmileTrain is an international children’s charity with a sustainable approach to a single, solvable problem: cleft lip and palate.
many children with clefts around the world live in isolation, but more importantly, have difficulty eating, breathing, hearing, and speaking. Cleft surgery is simple, and the transformation is immediate. In 45 minutes and for just $250, we can change the life and future of a child forever. Smile Train’s sustainable model provides training, funding, and resources to empower local doctors in 70+ countries to provide 100% free cleft surgery and comprehensive cleft care in their own communities. For more on their outstanding work, please check out www.smiletrain.org
at The Conservatory of Piano, we strive to make our students global citizens, aware of the world outside their homes and schools. Please contribute what you can to help our students help Smile Train help children in need around the globe.
thank you for supporting The Conservatory of Piano’s Christmas Festival of Giving for SmileTrain – together we can change the world one smile at a time!
